Wearing a Bike Helmet is Important

From my personal experience as a cyclist, I am very aware of the vital importance of wearing a helmet for safety.  I have had, on more than one occassion, fallen off my bike and was extremely grateful that I did not sustain any serious or even fatal head injuries because I was wearing my trusty helmet.

I especially recommend that parents should require their children to wear helmets if they intend to bike on busy city streets.

  There really is no good reason to not wear a helmet for safety.  Helmets can be purchased at an affordable price, and  come in many different styles and colors that can appeal to everyone. 

The Wonders of Mobile Phones

Remember back in the good old days when mobile phones were called "cell phones" and were nothing more than portable phones?  Well, all that has changed now.  What most of us use on a daily basis is more than just a portable phone, it is a very sophisticated digital hand held platform that does more than just make phone calls.  Our current mobile phones can do so much nowadays.  

Besides making phone calls and texting, these new smart phones can take still pictures and video images, play games, music and movies and other amazing things like monitoring your heart rate, blood pressure, mobile banking and recognizing songs played on the radio!  All of these amazing things can be done by installing and downloading special applications.

I wonder what the next generation of smart phones will be capable of doing  Maybe one day they will enable to record and play back our thoughts and dreams.
